BättreSL is an independent journey-planning app for public transport in Stockholm. No account is required.
Information stored on your device
Saved commutes, favourites, settings and, if you choose to enable it, a deletable search history are stored locally on your iPhone. You can remove saved items and search history in the app. Deleting the app also removes its local data.
Journey and stop queries
Internet access is required for journey searches and current traffic information. When you search, the places, stops, dates and times needed to answer the query are sent to traffic-data services. Traffic data is provided by SL through Trafiklab. These services may receive technical information normally included in an internet request, such as an IP address.
Location and maps
Location access is optional. If you allow it, BättreSL uses your location to find nearby stops and support walking directions. Map services may require network access to load map content or calculate routes. You can change location permission at any time in iOS Settings.
Notifications and background activity
Optional reminders are scheduled locally on your device. iOS controls background updates and execution, so monitoring and delivery cannot be guaranteed.
What we do not require
- No BättreSL account or sign-up
- No email address to use the app
- No ticket purchase or payment information in the app
BättreSL is independent and is not an official SL app. It does not sell tickets.
Support requests
If you contact us through the support form on samladit.se, we receive the message and email address you provide so we can reply. Support correspondence is separate from the app and is retained only as needed to handle your request.
Children
BättreSL is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
