These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Viora Vitals ("the App") published by Stefan Pihlanen ("we", "us", "the Developer"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The App

Viora Vitals is a personal health and habit tracking app that lets you log habits, medications, water intake, symptoms, body metrics, and view insights derived from Apple Health data. It runs entirely on your iOS device and optionally syncs to your personal iCloud account.

2. Medical disclaimer — read carefully

The App is NOT a medical device, and does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • The App is intended for general wellness and self-tracking purposes only.
  • Recovery scores, strain scores, insights, pattern correlations, and any other computed values are estimates based on your personal data. They are not clinical assessments.
  • Nothing in the App should be interpreted as advice from a healthcare professional.
  • Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or changing any medication, peptide, supplement, exercise program, or health protocol.
  • If you experience a medical emergency, call emergency services (112 in Europe, 911 in the US) immediately.
  • The App must not be used as the sole basis for any health decision.
  • Peptide, medication, and supplement tracking features exist to help you log your own use; they do not endorse, recommend, or approve any substance or dosage.

You use the App at your own risk.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher) to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian's permission.

4. Subscriptions

4.1 Free tier

Basic functionality is available for free.

4.2 Viora Pro

Viora Pro unlocks advanced features (Recovery & Strain scores, insights, unlimited habits and medications, history, iCloud backup, progress photos, and more). Subscriptions are offered as:

  • Monthly: $4.99 / month (or local equivalent)
  • Yearly: $39.99 / year (or local equivalent)

4.3 Free trial

A 7-day free trial is offered to new subscribers. Payment is charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

4.4 Auto-renewal

Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

4.5 Managing and cancelling

You can view, manage, and cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro access until the end of the current paid period.

4.6 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process refunds directly.

4.7 Offer codes

Promotional or complimentary access may be granted via App Store offer codes at our discretion. Offer codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged.

5. Your data

You own the data you enter into the App. We do not collect or store it on our servers — see the Privacy Policy for details. You are responsible for backing up your data (the App's iCloud Backup feature helps with this).

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
  • Use the App for illegal purposes.
  • Use the App to provide medical advice to others.
  • Circumvent subscription or payment mechanisms.

7. Intellectual property

The App, its name, logo, design, and content are the property of Stefan Pihlanen. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will the Developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, personal injury, or health outcomes arising from use of the App. Total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or limitation of liability, so the above may not apply to you to the fullest extent.

10. Apple-specific terms

  • You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and the Developer, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App.
  • In case of product failure, you may notify Apple to refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligations.
  • Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms as the App evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden, unless required otherwise by applicable consumer protection law in your country of residence.
